AARP Medicare Supplement Insurance® (also called “Medigap”) plans are health insurance plans designed to supplement Original Medicare. They help pay some of the health care costs that Original Medicare doesn’t cover (like co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles).There are standardized Medicare supplement plans that are identified by letters – A through N (except in Massachusetts, Minnesota and Wisconsin, which have different plans and plan designations)*.
